PVC is also low-maintenance, but has a shorter service life (around 25-30 years). Darker-coloured profiles can be sensitive to deformation or colour changes over the years, due to their lower rigidity.

• Hardware fittings: both systems can incorporate multi-point fittings with RC2 certification against leverage.
